Welcome to the place where laws politics and traditions hold no bounds. Where
Kindred, Kinfolk and things even stranger come together in an uneasy alliance,
and rumors of anciant mysteries haunt the spiced Egyptian air.
Welcome to the Mirage, a hidden gathering place for supernaturals to take off
their masks and veils and be themselves for the time they are there. No one
knows exactly how long this place has been in existence, but until recently it
was mainly a place for passing Striders and Swara and other Kinfolk to rest up
from their travels. Within the past month or so a few stray vampires have
wandered in ... and miraculously wandered out in one piece, thus causing the
curiosity of more Kindred to be piqued and since then the vampiric visitors
have been increasing in number.
Unless you already know the location of or have been told where the Mirage is
it is a rather hard place to find. The only entrance seems to be guarded by an
illusion that supernaturals and the awakened may see through, other humans
tend to wander past thinking it just another sand dune among the thousands. The
actual entrance is nothing special just a roughly stone lined open passageway
built into a dune that leads downstairs underground quite a ways, until the air
begins to cool and the only light comes from the small lamps that line the
walls of the passage.
After passing the entry-way you come into the main room of the Mirage. It is a
very spacious rectangular room but the soft light and variety of comfortable
furniture available to sit on gives it an almost cozy aire. On the wall
opposite the entrance is a full bar offering almost any drink or food one could
ask for. Looking left from the entrance more chairs and couches in varying
sizes are scattered around the floor and around the fireplace, above the
fireplace a 64" tube television is mounted into the wall. The other side of the
room sees the plush couches and loveseats give way to smaller leather chairs
and wooden tables that are arranged around a small wooden stage, though the
only
seen source of music is the Wurlitzer jukebox in the corner. Tucked neatly
against
the far right wall are several book cases filled with an arry of books from
modern
day best-sellers to old, rustic tomes of lore.

NOTE: This channel has developed a dual nature. At times the setting is as described above and at times the setting is changed to Boston, USA. This is the website for the Boston Mirage. Both settings carry the same name but other than they they have very little to do with each other. The setting largely depends on the mun's moods so, just ask whoever is already there where they're playing.
