What can I play here?
To fit in best with the setting, World of Darkness character types are the most desireable (ie: Werewolf, Vampire, Mage, Changeling, etc...). However, if you arent familiar with that system.. other character types are allowable. Just be sure that you choose something that fits with the setting and time period (an ancient Siberian tribesman would probably not be found in in modern-day Egyptian desert... and such). If you want to play a character native to another world/realm/dimension ... you must have a good reason for them apprearing on Earth. I know all of this is rather vague, so if youre still unsure about your charactr fittin in or not .. contact me and I will do what I can to provide a better answer or help you choose something new that you'd like.

What cant I play here?
At the moment there are no banned character classes/types, but there are three that are very heavily restricted. Meaning you must have my permission to play such classes. These are: Followers of Set, Abominations (were/vampire cross), and normal Humans. This list is subject to change without notice.. If there happens to be a certain kind of character that we see being abused and is causing a detriment to the role-play quality ... it could very well end up on this list too.

Where, exactly is the Mirage?
The Mirage is located in Egypt, somewhere between the Western and Sahara deserts... about 90 miles (130km) West of Asyut and 100 (170km) miles East of Qasr Farafra... 220 miles (360km) South East of Cairo (for those of you looking for specifics). At first I had been saying about 300 miles East of Asyut ... but with the help of RandMcNally.com I relaized that the atlas I have sucks and to never trust its scales.

When is this taking place?
This channel has a modern-day setting based loosely along the same lines as the World of Darkness RPG setting. However alot of the curent storylines that are happening within the actual White Wolf version of this campaign setting are not happening in our setting. If you dont know what I'm talking about, then thats great. If you do however, and are confused about what should be taken into account and what shouldnt.. contact me with your questions and I'll do my best to explain.

I want to play a character already familiar with the setting...
There are about 30 established and unestablished Bubasti NPCs working in the background at the Mirage. These characters range from 1st to 5th rank and are avaliable for 'adoption'. There are also openings for several other types of werecats to make appearences that have visited the Mirage before .. from ambasadors to vagabonds. I want to play a character already familiar with the setting that isn't a Bastet...
Serveral other supernatural character types are very aware of the Mirage's existance and often send interested parties there either to learn or gather information .. or both. The Silent Striders, Tremere, Order of Hermes, Sluagh, and Wraiths all seem amon the most attracted to the Mirage. Occasionally other changing breeds visits the cats of the Mirage to catch up on gossip and news from around the world. Many who otherwise would probably never be asociated with the Bubasti tend to visit the Mirage when in Egypt if for nothing else then the relaxing atmosphre. Isis trys to keep things as safe and unbias as possible ... but the wisest of leaders knows that total control is not possible.
